Riho Ishii is a 20-year-old individual who has developmental and learning disabilities. She puts in a lot of effort working for LIVES Food Truck, serving delicious dishes to customers in Tokyo. She has a hard time processing complicated terms at times, so we decided to go with an easy get-to-know-me interview!
LIVES Food Truck “OOPEN” is a project by Hands on Tokyo (https://www.handsontokyo.org/) that began in 2017, promoting employment for people with disabilities. People with disabilities and student volunteers work together in the food truck to sell delicious lunch meals around different locations in Tokyo.

Tell us about yourself!
I am 21 years old. I like to listen to music.
I have a developmental disability and a learning disability.
What’s your favorite part about LIVES Food truck?
I like serving customers because it is very fun.
What does LIVES food truck mean to you?
You meet a lot of people and form amazing relationships, so it really is a great job.
What’s your favorite dish from LIVES food truck?
My favorite dish from the food truck is Keema curry. We created a very special recipe with other people involved in the food truck.
What’s your favorite memory of LIVES Food truck?
My favorite memories are from participating in events, such as LIVES Tokyo. LIVES Tokyo is a big event that is held in Midtown every year.
What is your hobby?
My hobby is listening to music. I listen to J-POP, such as 関ジャニ∞
What’s the biggest challenge that you’ve faced?
LIVES Tokyo because it was such a busy event.
How do you want people to perceive you?
Regardless of my disability, I want to form positive relationships with everyone.
What do you think are your greatest characteristics?
Being nice to people and animals.
What’s your dream?
I want to work for a cooking-related job.
What’s your favorite food?
My favorite food is pasta and my favorite pasta sauce is tomato sauce.
My favorite dessert is chocolate cake. I don’t bake but I definitely want to learn how to bake.
Where do you want to open lives food truck in the future? (Ex: Hawaii)
My hometown Gunma.
What were you doing during quarantine?
I listened to music and walked my dog in my hometown Gunma.
What do you want to learn?
I want to learn English.
Where do you want to go?
I want to go to New Zealand and interact with animals, such as sheep.

・障害関係無く仲良く接して欲しいと思います。

・人や動物に優しくできるとこです。

・料理関係の仕事に就きたいです。

・パスタが好きです。トマト系のパスタが好きです。
将来はどこでキッチン カー を開いてみたいですか？
・地元の群馬でしたいです。

・たくさんの人と関われる良い仕事。
キッチン カー でりほさんのイチオシメニューは何ですか。
・キーマカレーです。ハウス食品のカレールーを使うのですが
皆んなでアイディアを出し合って考えた特別なレシピのカレーです。
コロナ自粛の期間は家の中で何をしていましたか？
・音楽を聴いたり、地元群馬にいる時は犬（トイプードル）と散歩をしました。
何か習いたいこと有りますか？
・英語を学びたいです。

・チョコレートケーキが好きです。
行きたい国はありますか?
・ニュージーランドに行きたいです。動物と触れ合いたいです。
